The Australian Space Agency (ASA) is an independent central entity for aerospace and related activities in Australia. We provide a comprehensive communication hub for professionals, amateurs, and the wider community.

Why bother about space? After all it's above our heads, or is it?

Over fifteen thousand years ago, an amazing invention took flight for the very first time. Then with more experimentation and careful observations of birds, the Australian Aborigines fashioned a unique aerodynamic boomerang.

In a nutshell, we are endeavouring to bring together a group of professional people with unique talent and a charismatic spirit to contribute scientifically and commercially to the on-going development of the Australian Space Agency (ASA).

The Australian Space Agency is a place to explore the greatest of human adventures, quench the desire of innovation and expand beyond individual limits. We are leading the way in preparing Australia’s space generation.

The Agency is Australian Space continually developing new products and services. Interested parties may apply or tender for the rights to commercialise these developments.
